Migration Justice in Canada-US Border Communities

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

How can the border communities of Detroit, U.S. and Windsor, Canada see and live as borderless cities? How can we create spaces of justice for immigrants facing removal of their legal Temporary Protected Status (TPS) seeking refugee status in Canada? We will explore these questions by drawing from the shared experiences of immigrants and activists of the Detroit-Windsor border area. Participants will walk away with an advocacy strategy on how communities can activate a border-less city.
