Giselle works at Global Action Project making films for social change. Giselle began her filmmaking experience 3 years ago at GAP. During her time with GAP, she has worked on editing films, writing screenplays, and directing short productions including last year’s film “Over Stigmatized”, which has been screened in festivals across the country. As a peer media educator, she taken on the role of working with both immigrant and TLGBQ youth to train them on social justice media-making, supporting them to be a voice for gender non-conforming and immigrant communities. She leads screenings of GAP films and workshops at schools, social service centers, partner organizations and conferences around NYC. Giselle was recently featured in the Huff Post as one of the 10 trans filmmakers that are helping people gain a better perspective on transgender stories., Global Action Project
