Have you ever wondered who “They” is? We will explore this question in depth sharing sharing how asking this simple question and using this framework led us to building a park and other cool projects. Participants will learn about how we used this method of problem solving and begin brainstorming ways they can apply it to work in their communities.

Bradley Cooper

Bradley Cooper grew up building forts in the forest by his house. He then decided architecture was a worthwhile pursuit, and attained degrees in the subject: Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati and Masters from the University of Michigan. He was a Haile Fellow at Peoples Liberty. His project, Start Small, explores tiny living as a solution to affordable housing. The premise is affordable housing can be for everyone, achieved through investments in quality design from the start. Prior to Start Small, he gained experience at architecture firms at home and abroad before most recently working for GBBN Architects. As a writer, he contributes to UrbanCincy.com. With an interest in more fully engaging community members with redevelopment efforts and not wanting architects and developers to go it alone, he organized two design competitions in Cincinnati: LIVE MAKE, a design competition for an industrial arts center; and Place from Space, a place-making competition that transforms vacant lots into vi, Voices In the Built Environment (VIBE)
