Invasive Papermaking for Everyone

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We challenge the idea that invasive plants are all bad. We’ll use invasive plants harvested from Detroit to introduce the act of paper-making; an accessible form open to all ages and abilities. We’ll explore this idea of "invasive" as we make together, finding new solutions for unwanted plants and seeking connections between our horticultural and anthropological languages. Participants will make their own paper and generate new ideas about how to better treat our landscapes and neighbors.
