How can art and culture be used to activate communities in the fight against gentrification and displacement? This session will give examples of creative anti-gentrification work being done in Pilsen, Chicago. We will learn about how to use art as a resistance tool and strategize how to use media to spread your messages reach. Participants will walk away with creative ideas for art activations/protests and new ways of connecting in solidarity with other groups through the use of media.
