Act Out to Tear Down: Disrupt with Theatre of the Oppressed

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

How do you organize where everyone has a role and a voice? How do you use tools that go with you from the street corner to the stairs of the State house? In this session we will move through several Theatre of the Oppressed techniques to explore what community organizing can feel like when the basis is built on moving through shared struggle, communal intimacy, and trust. The intended outcome is that participants learn how to use physicality and everyday objects to organize.
