Liberate the Skies: Diaspora and the New Anti-Militarism

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

While intersectionality is now central to progressive politics, movements still struggle connecting to war and militarism. Here we will focus on bringing antimilitarism into our work and imagine organizing with an antiwar lens. From US-based SWANA diasporas working with refugees in Athens, to folks facing a different kind of militarism within the US, we all want to fight the causes of war and racism. This solution-focused gathering will offer best practices and build power across communities.
