Content moderators make decisions about what we post online every day. Social platforms have become arbiters of free speech online — they decide whose voices are and aren’t heard. In what ways have groups been harmed by censorship and content moderation? In this session, we’ll examine content moderation and how it impacts different communities and groups. We want to brainstorm together to discuss methods for circumvention and alternative ways of thinking about content ownership.
