Strategies for Transforming Journalism

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Let’s roll up our sleeves to get journalism to stop colluding with white supremacy and patriarchy! Lots of journalists are dissatisfied with the industry’s racism, patriarchy, gatekeeping, and exploitation, but few of us are organized around resisting it. This interactive workshop will break down how the journalism industry today traffics in oppression, then consider liberatory strategies for engaging with editors, publications, and journalism schools towards transforming journalism.
