Consciousness Raising & Solutions Along the Media Color Line

The stories of people of color in the journalism industry reveal transgressions both on an individual and institutional level that coalesce with the broader web of systemic racism. So let’s share. We aim to clarify that our trials, whatever race or generation we are, live within this web of white domination. This session is a consciousness raising group in the tradition of 1960s radical feminists. But it’s not just about narrative shifts — we will set the stage for hypothesizing bold solutions.
