Community Action Research to Empower, Engage, and Transform

Participants will explore the history and purpose of We the People of Detroit’s Community Research Collective. In addition, they will strategize how they can employ community action research and knowledge in their own work. Participants will explore the importance of intergenerational community organizing and see what it looks like in action. This workshop will aim to share community action research rooted in justice in order to cultivate equitable and sustainable communities.
