Youth Participatory Action Research for Social Justice

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

What happens when youth are provided with tools to conduct research and create media to confront and improve the institutions intended to serve them? In this session, we will screen a youth produced documentary by Transfer School Students from NYC exploring education policies targeting transfer schools, highly impacting low income, POC, and LGBT students. The Q+A following the film will lay the groundwork for a digital toolkit for incorporating youth participatory action research into our social justice movements.
