Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The origins of the Mexican Day of the Dead are often unknown or mislabeled as a celebration of Spanish roots. We`ll highlight the Aztek origin of the holiday and how it evolved to the celebration we know today. We'll have an Aztec dance performance explaining its significance, followed by a hands on Ofrenda installation with the participants. We'll learn about the significance of the tradition, how to set up a traditional Tlalmanalli (Aztec ofrenda), and the elements of a contemporary Ofrenda.
