How can graphic design support social justice struggles by deconstructing it’s own practice and theory? As part of #designagainstdesign creative research project, we will discuss the overlooked vibrant counter-history of politically engaged design and deconstruct the conventional narratives that define graphic design. We will strategize on how design can support organizations and movements dedicated to genuine social change and contribute to a dynamic and vital culture of resistance.
