Ujimaa Medics is a Black collective of health workers and healers, organizers, and families that is spreading life-saving skills to our communities in Chicago. In this session participants will learn about our vision of healers and community care first responders on every block. Participants will walk away knowing some principles for first aid, treatment related to physical and emotional trauma, dealing with police, calling 911, and asthma emergency and preventative care.
