This lunchtime meetup will discuss the unique & shared history of Indigenous & Diasporic Black/African communities & how they have & must continue to intersect in movements & solidarity today. We will discuss/unpack the meanings, histories, and associations of common terminology along with dispelling common fallacies/erasure, anti-Blackness and brainstorm material ideas for further challenging bias and colonial constructs while discussing shared language and avenues for solidarity between our communities.
