Our stories have too often been erased from historical records and conversations about both Blackness and Indigeneity in the Americas. Many can recount experiences of having both our “Indian-ness” and commitment to Blackness questioned. This dinner is intended to be a space for us —the Black Natives/NDNs, the Afro-Indígena, and African Native Americans, — to build community and affirm our collective existence. We`re Indi.Visible — join us in this radical act of affirmation and healing.
