This workshop aims to elicit dialogues about representations and single-story narratives of disabled bodies, language diversity, and give examples of how to showcase intersectional stories from real deaf people. Participants will address about the myriad ways we, as marginalized groups, embrace, validate, and work together to change the representation of intersectional lives and come up with solutions on how to create more inclusive and barrier-free environments for everyone to benefit from.
