How do we create communities & movements rooted in healing justice? Join the National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network (NQTTCN) for a report back from our network gathering. We will share themes, lessons, learned, and critical next steps from our first national gathering for queer and trans folks of color advancing healing justice. We will hear reflections, critical questions, and hopes for a QTPoC healing justice convening we are organizing for 2020 from network gathering participants.

Taising Chen has provided over 20 years of direct services in a variety of community-based organizations and educational environments. As a cross-cultural & community worker, activist, advocate, supervisor, counselor, consultant and/or educator, she approaches her work and life through an anti-oppression framework - with an awareness about the intersections and impacts of race, ethnicity, class, gender, ableism, size-ism, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Taising is a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT) and expressive arts therapist and currently practices in Oakland, California.
