Latinx resistance artist and organizer K. Rodriguez is a member of For the People Artists Collective and Lifted Voices. Through their practices utilizing graphic design, watercolor, photography, and zinemaking, they use art as a tool for community healing and resistance. As a core organizer with Lifted Voices, a direct action collective of Black and Brown women, femmes, and non-binary people, Rodriguez facilitates trainings and workshops that are grounded in a self-defense philosophy of protest. Rodriguez draws inspiration from resistance on the ground in Chicago and across the United States. K. is also a co-founder of Praxis Group, located in Chicago.
