Healing Justice Resource Space
We acknowledge and uphold that AMC is happening on Anishinaabe land in a predominantly Black city. Our Resource Space centers Indigenous, People of Color, queer, trans/ gnc and disabled voices and experiences, and affirm that this work is rooted in the lineage of those communities.

We see Healing Justice as the practice of movement towards abundance at the intersection of intergenerational trauma, current structures of oppression, and a generative and co-created future. We hold that joy and pleasure create possibility to be in right relationship with ourselves, each other, our land, and our spirits.

We strive to demystify medicine and healing and to make them accessible to everyone. We believe that each person is an expert of their own experience, body, and needs and that, ultimately, it is necessary to address the roots of trauma and injustice for individual and collective transformation.

Available: Thursday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM;  Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM;  Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; Sunday, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Deep Relaxation Room
The Relaxation Room is a space for AMC attendees to chill out, take a nap, and recharge. The space provides resources for self-soothing through the senses: soft lights, ambient music, pillows and sheets, warm tea, essential oils, and art supplies. The space will host different lunchtime meet-ups each day, offering live ambient music performance, group meditation, and other activities.
The Relaxation Room is curated by Spectral Slumber. Spectral Slumber is an organization that creates immersive environments for quiet noticing and stillness, provides a refuge in a culture of sensory overload, and seeks to normalize sober and safer space.
