Maya Wagoner is a researcher, user experience designer, and organizer passionate about critical pedagogy and democratizing technology. She currently holds a Ford-Mozilla Open Web Fellowship at the Brooklyn Public Library, where she collaborated with the teens of the Brownsville Community Justice Center to build out a free community wireless network in Brooklyn, and conducted user research on the library's catalog and fines system.
