Saida Agostini is a queer Afro-Guyanese poet and trash talker. She hails Luther Vandross as the one and only king of silky smooth R&B. A Cave Canem Fellow, her work has been published or will be forthcoming in the Black Ladies Brunch Collective's anthology, Not Without Our Laughter, the Beltway Poetry Quarterly, the Delaware Poetry Review, Pluck - The Affrilachian Journal of Arts and Culture, TORCH Literary Arts, the Baltimore Sun, and Black Girl Dangerous. She is currently working on her first collection, uprisings in a state of joy.
