Bradley Cooper

Voices In the Built Environment (VIBE)
Bradley Cooper grew up building forts in the forest by his house. He then decided architecture was a worthwhile pursuit, and attained degrees in the subject: Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati and Masters from the University of Michigan. He was a Haile Fellow at Peoples Liberty. His project, Start Small, explores tiny living as a solution to affordable housing. The premise is affordable housing can be for everyone, achieved through investments in quality design from the start. Prior to Start Small, he gained experience at architecture firms at home and abroad before most recently working for GBBN Architects. As a writer, he contributes to UrbanCincy.com. Bradley Cooper is a designer working the broad spectrum of architecture. As a 2015 People's Liberty Haile Fellow, his project, Start Small, explored affordable housing through tiny living. That project led to the development of two small homes under construction. While operating Start Small, he is a construction and design consultant on projects for other developers, contractors and homeowners. Cooper is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Cincinnati teaching design studios and seminars. A passion for the holistically sustainable restoration of our built environment drives his work. He's a strong believer in the power in design and actively supports programs for young people that give them a voice or opportunity to understand and transform their environments.
