Kenia Guillen

Tierra Narrative
Kenia R. Guillén is a visual artist working with narrative film and documentary photography to tell personal stories. Having migrated from El Salvador to New York, her work is heavily influenced by her undocumented experience away from home. Believing that the personal is political, her multimedia work is an exploration of the emotional nuances of migration. She is currently finishing up a film production degree at Brooklyn College, where she is writing and producing multiple short films that center the Central American community.
