Her photography, films, and installation pieces are united by their attention to color and interest in the human condition. Jazmin's work has been described as "subversive" 👀 and often echoes her personal experiences as a queer, Black femme. She's been granted the Human and Civil Rights Award from the National Association of Education, the Fair Use Award from the Media That Matters Film Festival, and a Civic Arts and Humanities Fellowship from The New School in collaboration with the Flaherty Film Seminar.
