Mariana Castañeda-Lopez is dancer, educator, and a born & bred Detroiter. Her passion for bridging the physical and mental realms of life naturally led her to Pilates. As an undergrad at Goucher College in Baltimore, Mariana studied studied philosophy and dance, with concentrations in dance science and dance therapy. From 2011-2013, Mariana co-curated the Movement//Movement Practice Space at the Allied Media Conference. Mariana is extremely happy to return to the AMC with new experiences and skills to work towards living out collective liberation in our bodies.
