Justice For My Sister & Trensitas NPP Youth Nights
Marina Perez is a second generation Xicana settler on Tongva Land. As a graduate of California State University Northridge, she received her B.A. in Child Development with an emphasis on Early Childhood Education. Marina’s body of work includes community and digital advocacy promoting body positivity, decolonization, radical healing and trauma sensitive services for at-risk youth in Los Angeles. As a part-time poet and digital illustrator her work has been published in zines such as: Indigezine, Daughters of Violence, Thick Thigh Collective, and La Mariposa Codex.
