Natalia Bacchus

Baltimore Movement of Rank and File Educators (BMORE) and Teachers Democracy Project
Natalia Bacchus has been a Maryland public school educator since 2003. She has worked in Baltimore City schools since 2013 and in Montgomery County schools for 9 years prior. She has taught ESOL and has been a classroom teacher in 1st and 3rd grades. She currently works at Moravia Park Elementary School as an ESOL teacher, serves as the BTU Building Rep, and created a Union Chapter Committee. She has also worked for Refugee Youth Project (RYP) as a teacher in their after school programs and summer school. Natalia has also been a Teachers` Democracy Project Fellow since 2014, studying issues such as teacher evaluation, social justice curriculum, teacher unions, and restorative practices.
