Taising Chen

National Queer and Trans Therapists of Color Network
Taising Chen has provided over 20 years of direct services in a variety of community-based organizations and educational environments. As a cross-cultural & community worker, activist, advocate, supervisor, counselor, consultant and/or educator, she approaches her work and life through an anti-oppression framework - with an awareness about the intersections and impacts of race, ethnicity, class, gender, ableism, size-ism, gender identity, and sexual orientation. Taising is a licensed psychotherapist (LMFT) and expressive arts therapist and currently practices in Oakland, California. She is honored and excited to be working with NQTTCN on the Mental Health Fund for QTPOC in building a newer frame of access for queer and trans people of color to sustainably live, heal, and support one another.
