Tala Khanmalek

Sailing for Social Justice
Tala is a sailor, scholar, and sorceress who is deeply invested in community-based organizing at the intersection of sailing, social justice, and healing. She is a certified ASA sailor and rower. She has worked with many community based orgs, primarily in the Bay Area, including Womyn`s Circle, the Niroga Center, the Cultural Conservancy, and Healing Clinic Collective. She is currently a Response Team member at the Audre Lorde Project in NYC.
Tala is a sailor, scholar, and sorceress whose community-based work bridges water vessels, sailing, and boat building with social, healing, and environmental justice justice.
