Iyleen Torres was born and raised in Harlem, NY. She is a two time EVC Youth Producer and a student at Cascades High School, a transfer school in the lower east side of Manhattan. She believes in the power of media to amplify youth perspective on social issues that impact them and hopes to use her work as a filmmaker, painter and musician to do just that.
